Silver earrings with mokume gane (silver, copper, shibuichi) composite and garnets. Wearable on the left ear. Dimensions 45/30 mm. 3 round 3.5 mm garnets and oval one 6.8 mm. Visible pattern of the element of mokume is not galvanized and will not be wiped off as it made of alternating layers of silver and copper. Mokume gane technique is old Japanese method of making ornaments, using ferrous and precious metals. Originally it was used for decorating frames of the Samurai weapons, and is now used mostly for creating exclusive jewellery. The obtained patterns are as unique as fingerprint, because of the fact that they are created by manual forging and machining of metals layers.
